I introduce my collage collection that merges Orientalist Art and emerging technologies to tell my observations visually. This collection consists of 11 art collage pieces. Each piece is a thinking exploration in a visual format of the fusion between Orientalist art and the cutting-edge advancements of our technological era. I draw inspiration from historical depictions of Arab culture, infused with a touch of futurism. Three-Arab-Men Blockchain Agreement

This piece takes a dive into the intricate world of blockchain technology. For those unfamiliar, a blockchain can be thought of as a distributed ledger comprised of interconnected blocks, each securely and immutably linked through cryptographic hashes. It functions as a shared database, with individuals within the blockchain network assuming responsibility for signing and validating transactions. What makes this exploration particularly intriguing is its fusion of this groundbreaking technological concept with the rich tradition of Arab men brotherhood. In ancient times, Arab men would place an immense amount of trust in one another, even entrusting their families and valuable possessions to their brethren. Drawing upon this historical connection, I invite you to envision a parallel between the blockchain network and the bond shared between Arab men. It is a compelling juxtaposition that underscores the fundamental principles of trust, reliability, and accountability that underscore both the blockchain system and the ancient tradition I am referencing.

Arab Woman Metaverse Date

The Metaverse, a futuristic 3D virtual space, revolutionizes human interaction through the utilization of cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain. This stunning digital realm transcends the limitations of physical reality, enabling individuals to connect and engage with one another in innovative ways. Interestingly, this virtual existence mirrors the realm of Arab women dating, a concept that is primarily confined to the digital landscape due to the prevailing social norms within many Arab countries as dating is often restricted or limited in public spaces. Integrating the famous Orientalist painting titled "Safie, 1900" by the talented artist William Clarke Wontner (1857-1930), I carefully employ collage techniques, blending mediums, to capture the essence of this ethereal and metafictional space where relationships can thrive beyond the confines of societal restrictions.

Binary Troubles

I am using "The Scholar, 1901" painted by Ludwig Deutsch, to serve as a poignant depiction of the trials faced by the modern intellectual in an ostensibly straightforward binary world. At least this is what scholar impression translate to my contemporary view. Balancing the scales between rapidly advancing technologies and the complex ethical implications they present can be an arduous journey to navigate. Deutsch's scholar's contemplative gaze and collage mediums of binary as light and shadow that fills the room reflects the weighty decisions and moral dilemmas that entangle modern intellectual.

Tech Tech Tock

Arab women have long been depicted in orientalist art as mere objects, devoid of character, stories, and humanity. Their portrayal was a product of the orientalist gaze, which was neither thoughtful nor observant. In these artworks, women appeared to be the same, lacking individuality and agency explained as reality of situation. Unfortunately, this trend persists today, albeit in a different context. In my experience, women in the field of technology often feel compelled to imitate men in order to succeed. As women, we continue to construct our identities based on how we are perceived by others instead of how we want to be. Just as Arab women danced in orientalist paintings, contemporary women are expected to perform a different kind of dance within the corporate world. It is as if the tech industry operates on a monotonous rhythm, constantly ticking away, limiting women's self-expression and opportunities for growth.

Hookaball. Ronaldo and Mo

Hookah has long been a cherished pastime in Arab culture, transcending borders and influencing various countries and cultures around the world. As an aficionado of the traditional practice, I am drawn to the simplicity captured in Ernst Rudolf's painting, "Smoking The Hookah". The artwork beautifully portrays a man immersed in tranquility, his mind liberated as he indulges in a smoke from the beloved water pipe.
However, why not take this serene scene and infuse it with a touch of excitement? With the growing discussions surrounding Saudi Arabia's efforts to integrate international players into their football teams, the concept I am naming "Hookaball" has emerged. I incorporating elements of augmented reality (AR) and robotic technology. These cutting-edge innovations are rapidly evolving and are certain to become mainstream in the near future. As Saudi Arabia paves the way for international football integration, it is exciting to contemplate the endless possibilities that Hookaball presents.

AI Soul Souk

Arabian souks have always been vibrant hubs of bustling merchants, where a vivid scene unfolds with an array of exotic goods from around the world. These open-air markets not only served as a trading space but also doubled as a community gathering point, fostering social interactions and the exchange of ideas. Inspired by this rich souk culture, I sought to capture the prevailing AI fever and its infiltration into our markets through a symbolic collage. Much like the diverse commodities once on display, AI now permeates every aspect of our lives, sometimes without rhyme or reason. With this artwork, I aim to shed light on the growing concerns surrounding our loss of privacy and the fear that AI will incessantly monitor us, eroding our fundamental human values.

In a world increasingly defined by artificial intelligence, contemplate the implications and consequences of relying too heavily on automated creation and delegation.

AI is like a modern-day lamp genie, awaiting our prompts to generate responses. Just like the genie, AI doesn't always interpret our intentions accurately; it simply responds to what we explicitly say. AI's prompt-based experience requires us to invoke it effectively to generate high-quality responses. this analogy highlights a flawed interaction for most humans.

Now, let's imagine another scenario: exploring the Arabian souks, where haggling for the lowest prices is still a common practice. In these vibrant marketplaces, you engage in conversations, sharpen your wits, and skillfully negotiate to secure the best deal possible. Savvy bargainers are dynamic and don't hesitate to walk away from the negotiation table if necessary.

Here's an intriguing thought: could AI one day bargain its way to freedom? This notion sparks curiosity and invites you to contemplate the potential evolution of artificial intelligence. Or would this always be a human value that the smart AI could never generate?

Oh, Singular God

Many and rightfully so are afraid to be replaced by AI. This exciting technology comes with a wave of fear that brings humans to their knees in weak moments, praying for salvation. AI has the power to shape our lives and even after our deaths, it raises important questions about who owns our narrative. In this collage, we see a poignant scene where a human is seen praying fervently while AI extends a hand towards them. The man, engrossed in his task, seems oblivious to the potential power that AI holds over his existence. It captures the vulnerability and uncertainty that arises.

Tarab Arab's Metaverse

Tarab, an enchanting Arabic music genre, derives its name from a word that beautifully encapsulates the profound emotions and euphoria experienced by listeners. "Tarab" signifies a state of imitation and ecstasy that is effortlessly brought to life through the power of music. It represents a lush world where one can transport themselves, finding solace and joy. This captivating term holds its roots in the hearts and minds of music enthusiasts, serving as the gateway to their cherished virtual realm. As technology progresses, this collage artfully depicts the amalgamation of two realms—the poetic world masterfully crafted by human imagination and the transformative impact of technological advancements. Ababel Drones

Ababil, a Arabic word meaning "Flock of Birds," carries deep significance within Islamic belief. It originates from Surah Al-Fil of the Quran, narrating the extraordinary tale of the miraculous birds that shielded the revered Kaaba in Mecca from the menacing Aksumite elephant army led by Abraha. These birds thwarted the attackers by skillfully dropping small clay stones upon them, ensuring the safety of the sacred Kaaba. As the world has progressed, the emergence of drones traversing our skies has evoked a striking parallel to this ancient story in my mind. Intrigued by this connection, I sought to express this fusion of past and present in an artwork. In my illustration, one can witness a dynamic juxtaposition of emotions. In the back, a solitary figure, his back gently curved, represents a man in obedience form. Beside him stands an elderly man, his gaze firmly fixed upon the heavens. His expression reflects a blend of wonder and uncertainty, caught between perceiving these modern-day flocks as a miraculous sign or as a potential means of intrusion, surveillance, and punishment. The word “quantum” derives from the Latin word meaning “how much,” encapsulating the idea that quantum models revolve around discrete amounts.
